Plainfield

The Winooski River, on a calm and peaceful September afternoon, flowing through the village at the bottom of my hill.

I've added this painting to my Vermont Flood Relief Art Sale--you can take a look here!

Susan this is so pretty. Love the colors. Hope the water isn't overflowing the banks?

This painting is not only one of the most beautiful paintings I've ever seen, it's one of most beautiful "anything's" I've seen. This painting is really, really very special. Calm, stunning. Congratulations!

Thank you for writing, everyone! Not to worry, Linda, this is the Winooski River flowing through Plainfield on a normal day...I have been thinking about using the painted photos in this Vermont town series as studies for larger oil on linen paintings--this one included.
