Sunday Sketchbook: Memory

A recent flurry of scrabble activity here has me thinking about my Mom (gone now thirteen months from today) who loved the game--and was very willing to sit still while I drew her concentrating on a move.

What a precious memory of time with your mother. Thank you for sharing it!

Nice to see someone like you who not only excels in so many painting mediums, but is also a "sketcher,"
as I have been, since 1974.
Unfortunately, as I did once before in all these years, I just left my sketchbook (#51) in the seatback on a flight from Florida, last weekend.
OUCH!!...and a real BUMMER!
They say "If something was meant to be yours, it will come back to you."
Really a BIG fan of your art.

Thank you for writing, Devoted Mom and William! I left a sketchbook in the same place on a plane on the way to France--I would have really been irritated if it was on my way home, rather than going to, Paris. I also left a sketchbook on top of a car in Acadia Park in Maine. It was returned to me two months later, with a tire track on the cover.
