Dear Susan,
My deepest condolence to you on the loss of your mother. It is difficult to lose someone we love and care for. I also lost my mother on August 24, not yet two months ago. We no longer have them with us, but we can treasure them in our hearts with fond memories. I would like to share with you a poem that a friend forwarded to me during my time of grief. It has a comforting message. It's pretty long, so here's the link: http://www.christopherlong.co.uk/pub/death.holland.html

Keep well,
catcaley

Heartfelt sympathy for your loss! There is so little that can be said at a time like this, but your painting speaks volumes.

I'm not sure you are ever prepared for the loss of your mother ... in reading your blog, for some time now, I always love reading the small snipets of detail about your mother ... such a supportive person in your life. I'm so sorry for your loss.
