Mom Napping
I drew my mother many times over the years, sleeping, knitting, reading, or just posing patiently. The dress she's wearing here, 25 years ago, the gesture of her hand in her hair, the turn of her leg--all bring her back to me so vividly.

These are wonderfully poignant. Very well done!
Lovely, lovely sketches of your Mum. Just beautiful.
Thank you, Joan and Elizabeth. My mom was a great napper, and also a very patient model.
Lovely drawings to stir wonderful memories of your good times with MOM. She did a good job raising YOU! We mourn our loss.
These drawings of your mother touch me very much, not only for their excellent quality but for the remembering they bring. They touch me, oddly enough, because they make me think of the love I had, and still have, for my own mother. In all sincerity these are perhaps the most wonderful drawings I have ever seen. Nothing could more wonderfully communicated.
Thank you so much, Craig and Candy.
such beautiful sketches. I'm sorry about the loss of your mother. It's a big hurt.
