Here is the finished nine panel painting "Motel on 302".
Click here to see each panel individually, and the original sketch. It was framed just in time for the August 28th opening of "Fresh Air", a landscape show at
West Branch Gallery in Stowe, Vermont.

They are all exquisite...Id love to feature one on my blog The showcase if youd like let me know..?
That would be fine, Robin, thanks! Just let me know when, and I'll link to it.
Looks great, Susan. I like the geometries and quality of light. Did it take lots of shuffling to figure out the order?
Thanks for writing, Altoon. The panel order was set from the sketch I did before I started the paintings, and didn't change that. Initially I did quite a bit of shuffling to figure out the design shown in the sketch.
I love this! The strong graphic style is stunning! It is all terrific!
I am enjoying the view of the ensemble of the nine panels as much as I enjoyed every single panel while you made it... this is a wonderful work of art, congratulations!

I just love your crisp design and fantastic color harmony. This is beautiful!
You have captured the saturation of color when the sun is low so beautifully. I don't know why the color is so much more intense just after dawn and just before dark. It's two beautiful times of the day and your expression of the is spot on.
Thank you, Davida! It's those long shadows at that time of day, that create both mood and design, don't you think?
the colors, composition and geometry are all wonderful and interesting.
