It seems to me that this entire motel series has a very strong geometric abstract quality; the small buildings and the shrubs a wonderfully clear and simple.
I love it - I love your use of colour and your style.
That's true, Altoon, and that's what attracted me to this subject. In composing and painting these, I keep paring down details, and my guess is that when i assemble all of the panels and see the whole composition together, I'll do some further symplifying.
This series is amazing! The geometric qualities and the light are fantastic!
