Windy Day, Elbow Cay
I painted this as a demonstration on Tahiti Beach, and it became a lesson in how to race in watercolors while trying to keep up with a constantly changing sky.

Your work is stunning! The color is breathtaking.
I really like your color transitions, particularly in the water!
Absolutely sparkling watercolor. Light, bright and so like a resort setting.
You are a spectacular artist. Just stumbled here in the usual internet way -- following (interlocking?)links. Don't even remember where I started, but what a lucky landing. Watercolor is so, so difficult, and yours are so strong. Thanks for transporting me away, too. So nice given the snow day I had today.
Thank you so much for these comments, all! Kablooey, I just took a look at your blog--funny, I was thinking about the intersection of painting and motherhood right before I read your profile. Many women artists I know don't have children, but being both a mother and a painter has been quite an interesting--if intense, in more ways than one-- journey for me.
This is breathtaking...what a wonderful and unique style you have..!
I appreciate your comment, Robin!
