Lifting Storm, Hope Town
I'm flying home to Vermont today, but will continue to post paintings from my three weeks in the Bahamas--which will help me remember the pleasures, once back in my studio, of working outdoors in a tee shirt in the middle of winter.

Love the painting! Have a safe trip home and welcome to the world of snow and ice!
Three weeks in the Bahamas - you lucky girl! This one is so gorgeous and full of color and life. I've enjoyed seeing all your work from the Bahama workshop - and have talked to my Sweetie about next year coming to join in. Time to plan is now!! Seeing the people on the porch painting and learning and then out painting in those lovely spots is so inspiring.
this is divine!!!
love these Bahama paintings. I wish I were there.
Thank you for writing, Rhonda. I hope you can join us in Hope Town next year. It's a lovely winter break--and I would enjoy meeting you and painting with you, after taking a look at your blog!
Thank you, Katherine! It is back to the world of snow and ice here, and how quickly we adjust...
Many thanks for writing, Liana, glad you have been enjoying these paintings! I'll be posting more this week.
Thanks, Cathy. This sky was at the end of a day of storms, the only really unsettled weather I had in three weeks in Hope Town. As usual with a weather change, it made for a fast and exciting painting session.
