Path Through Vineyards

I went out in the late afternoon behind our hamlet to a favorite spot, where two walking paths converge, and row upon row of grape vines disappear into the distance.

Beautiful! I love the tree tops in the foreground and how the light bounces off of them. The hills are truly rolling! Nice work.

Thanks, Heather. The grape vines in the foreground have a "reaching up" kind of gesture that's interesting to paint. That purple/orange soil is not exaggerated color--if anything, I didn't get those colors as bright as they are in reality at this time of day.
