Spring to Summer--Vignette 7

In between landscape workshops I've been back to work in the studio on my commission, and am enjoying the close-up focus of still life again.

Really curious as to what could be consumed with the above ingredients...

I love the realistic simplicity of this. The teabag especially, it's beautiful.

Thanks for writing, Ouu. My still life is a combination of abstraction and a very ambiguous narrative--so use your imagination and let me know what you come up with!

Narrative as in story...? Hmm.

This persons needs a break (tea time) from their life which is a bit sour at the moment (lemons) but they are unable to do so (hence the lack of milk). They also need to communicate their feeling (letter) but they are hiding it/keeping it to themselve or avoiding it (being covered by sheet thing). Was I close?
