I do love your art. so is the painting on the table a copy of a post card or some other art or is this also your creation at the time you are seeing Mt. Fuji?

This is wonderful! I like your creative compositions so much! And I like the title of this piece. I always consider my morning tea as my own special tea ceremony, bringing me peace and strength for the day. :)

Hi, CheyAnne. Thank you so much for writing. The landscape in this vignette is a copy of a print by Hokusai, the Japanese artist. In the 1800's he produced a wonderful series called "100 Views of Mt. Fuji". I've used "quotes" from his work, and other Japanese print makers, many times in my still life--I love these images.

I'm glad you wrote, Katherine! I tend to paint tea--must be both the color and associations that appeal to me--but am an addicted morning coffee drinker myself...
