Spring to Sumer--Vignette 5

After so many years of working with watercolors, I've come to approach oils with the same direct approach--each brushstroke trying to unite hue, value and form.

These peach paintings are absolutely scrumptuos. They make my mouth water. I don't know how you do it but your work is always so lively and inviting!

Luscious, bold, bright colors and a beautiful composition - what more could you ask for, whether it's watercolor, acrylic or oils?

Thank you--I really appreciate all of you taking the time to write! The bowl of fruit is now withered and gone, and all that remains is the painting...

Your compositions are always so striking and original. I love the vibrancy that you get with your colors too. I'd like to hear more about the comparison between watercolors and oils.
