Journal: First Bouquet

Here are the first flowers up in my dooryard garden--when I return from Paris in two weeks, they will be joined by tulips, forsythia, and the first baby bleeding hearts.

Dear Susan - Enjoy Paris! I too photograph and paint flowers. There are wonderful gardens in Paris - one of my faves is Parc Floral, the eastern end of the city, the end of the line of Metro #1. Also, you can walk through the Luxembourg Gardens and Jardin des Plantes. Have a wonderful time and paint Paris!

Thank you so much for your comments, folks! Paris is a month at least ahead of Vermont in seasons, and the daffodils here have been replaced by peonies and roses. Glad I have them to look forward to when I get home to new England.
