Mt. Tabor #7

Few things say "time and infinity" for me like a defunct train station and a disappearing railroad track.

this looks very like the old train tracks I used to travel as a child... they're paved now :/. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, the painting is lovely.

Thank you, Starr. Many small towns in Vermont, where I live, used to be connected by train travel. Some are still functioning, but most are now bike trails or abandoned.

Another beautiful painting in that style I first noticed in the motel series. Edward Hopper like but also making the ordinary very interesting. I'm sure people all over the country wonder at how familiar your scenes are to their memories.

Susan, I'm always astonished by your use of color. You punch up the hue and intensity until it just sings. At the same time, the scenes are perfectly believable, because you orchestrate everything so well. Wonderful work.
