Thank you, Robin, glad you like this. Yes, I'd be delighted if you featured it. I'm going to put up the whole "Motel on 302" nine painting series and finished piece (the nine framed together) on Monday and Tuesday. If you want to wait for that,I can send you a link.

this is so light in feeling, i thought it was a watercolor.

I'm finding that the way I'm using oils has been changed by so many years of working in watercolor, Liana. More direct color, no dark underpainting, and no neutral pigments. Also, I'm mixing color directly on the canvas. One big difference--after paint has dried, it is much easier to correct and adjust oils than watercolors!
