From the Hill, Summer #5

What a pleasure it is to just stand still and look, trying to understand the familiar.

This is a wonderful landscape and again, I love your color palette. I really feel drawn in and makes me want to visit Vermont. Looks beautiful!

Thank you, Linda. This time of year the greens are starting to shift to gold and yellow, and there are undertones of violet--so much color is out there!

I really appreciate your taking the time to write, Liana and Susan. I'm enjoying walking out a couple of hundred yards on my back land to paint this series, after all of the flying and driving earlier in the year to painting sites with my french easel and backpack full of supplies.

I love this one... It has a wonderful balance and patterns that take you right inside... Lovely. (Oh, I guess ditto what Linda said.)
