Sudden Storm over Luberons

Every now and then during my painting time in Provence a dramatic rain shower will blow in over the mountains, and if the weather changes while we're in the studio, I have a dry place to observe (and try to keep pace) with the action.

I missed your posts while your laptop was down. I'm glad you're back. I love this little watercolor. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your Provence paintings.

Thanks for your comment, Skizo. I do find travel inspiring--though I need to remember that I have storms coming over mountains here at home in Vermont, too, and that I should get out here more often to look at and paint a landscape that can too easily become familiar.
