Fields, Four Seasons

The individual "Four Seasons" are now framed together: a Vermont field's journey through a year of changing light, color, and weather.

This is beautiful Susan; the movement through space and time is elegant, and the fields undulate rhythmically. (I wish for a larger jpeg, to see the enlargement more clearly.)

Together they are even more beautiful, I like very much the horizontal framing!

Thanks, Altoon. If you click on the red "Four Seasons" you'll see each panel enlarged (to about half real size--it's a small painting!)

I appreciate your comment, Kablooey. May have it tattooed to my painting arm to read on those days when my confidence is flagging...

Wow--isn't this awesome! I love it! It really is amazing how a landscape changes with the seasons.

One of the things I love about living here in Vermont is how extreme the changes are through the seasons--it's a different landscape every few months. My painting series "Elements of Place" was inspired by these seasonal shifts: :http://www.susanabbott.com/artofaction/index.html

This is a stunning piece. Very nice work! The colors you have mixed capture the essence of each of the season seamlessly.
