Hopper Study

I'm teaching a workshop this week on three great masters of watercolor that I never stop learning from--Hopper, Homer and Sargent.

Is there more information online about this workshop? It sounds interesting.

Susan, this is wonderful! You should include yourself in the "masters" of watercolor. I so admire your technique. I've never quite taken to watercolor, at least not yet. You have the perfect balance of controlled and loose in your painting, with delicate but bold washes. Well done!

Thanks so much, Christine! Sara, I teach this course every few years at different workshop locations around the country. The best way to find out when and where is to subscribe to my email workshop newsletter. Click on "join mailing list" in the right top column, and select the workshop newsletter in the constant contact preferences.I also have a workshop blog you can subscribe to, also listed as a link in the right column.

This is beautiful--it really does remind me a lot of Homer. Gorgeous.
