Oh, my! Now this is watercolor doing what it does best - in the hands of a masterful painter.
Thank you! I didn't feel masterful painting it though--felt like I didn't know what the hell I was doing, trying to keep up with the changing color. One thing I've learned, maybe mastered, is not quitting out of discouragement, but instead just plowing ahead to the finish line (in the case of plein air, when the light changes.)
