View from Sault on a Clear Day

The colors were especially intense when we painted here last week--a clear sky, and the lavender and wheat fields at their peak, right before harvest.

Just beautiful, Susan! It almost looks like a patchwork quilt of vibrant summer colors. Have been enjoying your daily postings from France.

What amazing detail you've achieved. As always, your colors are breathtaking. I am still struck by the thought of fields of lavender.

You totally show us it can be done Susan with your simplification of these infinite seeming vistas. Always inviting and filled with optimism and timelessness.
