Susan, this is just lovely and inviting.
Beautifully painted, Susan. Is this watercolor or acrylic?
This is luminous. It truly reveals the full magical powers of watercolor, and the full power of the artist.
Love how my eye sash-ays through the painting. The colors are so luminous and striking. Gorgeous!
What a beautiful, beautiful watercolor!
Thank you, all. This is transparent watercolor, painted pretty much with a triad of quinacridone coral (a Daniel Smith color), prussian blue, and aureolin. I didn't have much time, as I spent the first part of our painting session drinking cafe au lait, so I drew a contour sketch with a sepia waterproof pen on Arches paper, then started laying in washes. A "colored drawing" rather than a "painting" seems to be less daunting if I'm working under a faster time constraint.
killer design and execution! Beautiful!
This one is my favorite!
