Town, Summer (in process)

Where's there's a town in Vermont, there's a river. Montpelier's waterway no longer is used for industrial energy or transportation, but the Winooski is still, as a thing of beauty, a vital part of the town's economy, and provides (like rivers that run through cities everywhere) the lifeblood of this place.

What striking colors and composition!

Only your outstanding use of color could make a tired view of an old bridge and some buildings near it look beautiful and bright and make you want to see it in person :) How wonderful!

Thank you for your comments! I love these old bridges, their design and intense dark color against the light bright colors of buildings and foliage--hope they can be restored rather than replaced.
