I LOVE this! Fantastic colors and composition. I love the way it is saturated but I still understand it as a real place. This is something I try to do in my landscape paintings as well. Well done!

Thank you, all! This painting reminds me of an illustration from a Disney book version of "Peter and the Wolf" that I had and read over and over as a child. Heavt, snow-laden bows on pine trees--the quintessential image of Russian (and Vermont) winter.
