Farm Element (in process)

I've finished the underpaintings for the "Farm Element" multipanel piece. Here they are, beginning on the left with "Autumn" and continuing through the seasons. Below are the watercolor studies for the piece. In developing the oil painting, colors and values have intensifed, and now I'll keep working on unifying the four panels into one composition.

I love the watercolors but also love the pumped up color in the oils. These are all absolutely stunning works of art.

I love your multi panel pieces. You have a real knack at making them cohesive, yet interesting individually. Wonderful!

I am totally enthralled and inspired by your travel journals. They remind me of my youth! I hope you are off traveling again soon as I eagerly await your next installment.
