Maybe I'm craving some color outside, but while I'm here today painting my home state I've been thinking back to a trip to Rajasthan, and how exciting it was to be in a place that felt like a complete mystery.

I am a big fan of your style of painting using watercolors. Use of colors truly brings out the spirit of rajasthan in this painting. would love to see more of it.
Thank you! I noticed on your blog that you have subjects from India also. I was lucky enough to take a (too quick) trip through Rajasthan a few years ago. Here's the series of paintings that I did after my return from there--just couldn't get the color and energy of India out of mind for a year after.
