April Daffodils

I've put aside painting for the last few days to get ready to leave tomorrow for two weeks of teaching workshops in Washington, DC. I'm looking forward to driving south into spring, and then arriving back home again in time to greet the green tips of our first Vermont daffodils.

Super spring flowers and look at all those objects. You could sit and look at this piece for ages and still not see all the little details. Beautifully painted!

I too, enjoy that drive 'into' Spring. As a Naples Snowbird. I'll be making the trip in reverse, from summer to "hey. No Leaves?"
Your work is beautiful.

Thanks so much, everyone. I love seeing that first color in the yard every April, and have to paint them.

How beautiful! Yellows are so hard to work with and you've made it look soooo easy.

These daffodils (and the radishes) are astounding, but I especially love the vase--them stems and colors are wonderful.
