Restless Sky, Crystal Lake


Yesterday was my son Colin's 19th birthday, and he designed our celebration just right: breakfast at the Miss Lyndonville Diner, then kayaking and fishing on Crystal Lake and a hike to the top of Mount Pisgah, followed by a fast drive and arrival at a Thai restaurant one minute before closing, and homeward for cake and presents (including his father’s well-worn copy of Kerouac’s “Dharma Bums”) at midnight.
